I love several sports, but it's hard to beat elimination games in baseball. Every pitch is nerve racking.

The WBC may be the most underrated sporting event. It always provides great drama and great games played by the best players in the world. And it’s fun starting the baseball season with playoff level intensity games instead of meaningless spring training scrimmages.
I wish more American fans would get the message and tune in.

Great game. Glad USA won but that last at bat…dude at the plate had maybe the best at bat of the game and that should have been a walk. To say it was a generous strike is an understatement.

I think he could because it wasn't back-to-back nights. That said, hats off to the Venezuela team who beat Japan and the US. I hope Geno has more moments like that for the Redlegs.

LOVE that Geno is back. Was genuinely happy for him last night. Only silver lining I could find in the USA losing. He's a great dude and Im friggin pumped to see him back in GABP
I was there last night and the atmosphere was electric. Without a doubt the best sports environment I’ve ever been in. We didn’t hit, plain and simple, all credit to their pitchers.
I was a few rows behind the Venezuelan dugout and it was a blast watching them interact with their fans during the game, all game. It meant so much to their fans for them to win. Grown men celebrating, crying and hugging each other, drums, horns, whistles…normally that would irritate me but last night (for one night) it was great to see.

Got my Aces mixed up there were 2 studs they pitched games 2 and 3 but 1 of them didn't pitch again.

That is who I meant he needed to pitch last night. The 2 runs given up early on were in the first 5 innings.
Also you would thought we could got better BP pitchers.
