13 of the next 16 at home … that’s a plus. Think a tough *** road opening SEC weekend may not have been so bad??? Tough losses though.

Yeah. Minor leagues developing players is the #1 priority. Wins are secondary. The pros will always have patience with a pitcher that has his skill level. Good for him
O'Conner addressed it on Thunder and Lightening and explained that statistically the number 2 hitter is most likely to get the most plate appearances, so he put him there. Not sure of the numbers on that, but that was his explanation as I recall it.No one has commented on Bryce moving to the two spot in the order. In his past, moving him up was occasionally a negative because he wilted from the pressure. Hopefully, his maturity will produce positive changes for run production. He’s our best contact hitter.
Is that going to be JB's future also? Why no innings in this game?Eric has figured it out in pro ball thankfully
Two possibilities. Neither particularly good. Either he's got an injury we don't know about, or he's just so bad you can't even put him in a game like this. Really even if it's the first one and he recovers this week, there's very few games from here on out you could trust him to pitch in. He may be able to contribute next year, but it won't be this year.Is that going to be JB's future also? Why no innings in this game?
