2 years......that is all you have to wait.I hated the decision. I finally get the chance to see SHU in Vegas where I have lived for 30 years and we turn it down. Dammmmm
I understand the reasons behind it (meaningless tournament, chance of injury etc) and had no issues with declining it
Looking into my crystal ball I can't even see who is on the team in 2 years or who the coach is. Maybe you can tell us?2 years......that is all you have to wait.
Final Four in Vegas in 2 years....SHU will be there!
lol
You mean the invisible man? At this point, even Brandon Weston had more floor time. Ditto Mike Pilgrim. My one disclaimer would be if Sha started Mbaye in The Crown and played him 20 mpg. I heard heâs a diamond in the rough.
Pretty much sums up my feelings on this.Kinda get it. But still disappointed. Dumb tournament but still would have liked to see them play more games.
This is a jokeThe Crown is a joke and the coaches and the players know that and have voted with their feet. The thought of watching SHU fall behind in the first half AGAIN, fight back in the second half for games that mean absolutely nothing?? Hard pass.
If you were them would you would have wanted to practice two more weeks after a season full of travel for 1 to 3 more games that in the grand scheme are completely meaningless? I wouldnât.No real Issue but it says something about their mindset. And I doubt itâs all that positive

To quote RUâs new Prexy âyou want dogs that want to playâ. Iâm okay with them passing but I do think it tells you something. If you were them would you would have wanted to practice two more weeks after a season full of travel for 1 to 3 more games that in the grand scheme are completely meaningless? Tells you what. At least 80% of our players wonât be on the roster next year. So who cares what their possible mindset isTo quote RUâs new Prexy âyou want dogs that want to playâ. Iâm okay with them passing but I do think it tells you something.
You donât think our guys played like dogs this year then we were watching two completely different teams. To quote RUâs new Prexy âyou want dogs that want to playâ. Iâm okay with them passing but I do think it tells you something.
Had a couple games they didnât. Donât believe me? Go back and listen to Shaâs postgame. You donât think our guys played like dogs this year then we were watching two completely different teams.
I think ur right. And they know it too. And that was my point. Passing on the chance to continue to play tells you something. Not sure why that is lost on folks here.Tells you what. At least 80% of our players wonât be on the roster next year. So who cares what their possible mindset is
I wanted manicotti.. I compromised;I wanted to watch SHU in the NCAA tournament, but I compromised. I watched one shining moments 1989 clips on NCAA.com instead.
Thinking about meeting with agents and future employers for one.As a viewing fan I don't care as I'm not going to watch a garbage tournament. As a SHU fan I am wondering what the players who turned it down are thinking.
