I hope this encourages other top talented Ladies to consider coming to UNC to play along side Kate. We have done well in recruiting lately but it feels like there could be another step up right in our reach.

Congratulations to Kate. What a wonderful honor and award to receive. Well, I am going to say it now. I was wrong. Kate will have to start from Day 1. Somebody will have be on the bench. That solidifies it that she is the best player coming out of high school. Now, I hope the top talent in the 2027 class will look at this feat and say to themselves, boy I want to play with her in college. Go Heels!
I hope recruiting moving forward will continue to be at a high level. We must increase our NIL money for WWB. I would say from 4.5 million to at least 5 to 5.5 million in order to stay competition with the other top schools like Duke.
Just what the program needs to help take that next step. Congratulations Kate! Go Heels!

The Naismith is awarded by the Atlanta Tipoff Club. Now before we assume that the fix was in, their voting body is actually national in multiple ways. But it certainly can't hurt to have a top 3 candidate in your hometown with a famous hometown alumn as her father...
It will be interesting to see how many national awards she wins (Wootten, Max Preps, Gatorade, USA Today are probably the other big ones.) Either way, so excited she is a Tar Heel!

I think CB and Kate will need to bring another player from the ATL. So Far, we are 2 for 2. Caleb Wilson is racking up the awards and accolades on the men's side. He just broke and set the freshman records at UNC this year. His Jersey is going to be in the rafters now. Wilson Earns More All-America Honors From USBWA & NABC. If you are wondering why I am putting Wilson's name on our board it's because I want everyone on this board to notice the similarities between Kate and Caleb. First of all, they both are from the ATL. Secondly, the both are racking up awards this year, one on the high school level, and the other on the college level as a freshman. Third, I can see Kate doing the same thing her freshman year in college next year. Fourth, ATL produces top level talent that are ready to step in from Day 1. Another one is Walker Kessler who was also from the ATL and who also played at UNC his freshman year. Lastly, moving forward, I think CB and Staff should look for other players to recruit from the ATL. She can use Caleb and Kate to help her with the 2027 class as well as the 2028 class since they both are from the ATL and the ATL appears to be a hot bed for talent. Go Heels.

That is good for her. Go get the money. NIL is here to stay. I do not have any problems for high school or college students who are able to earn some money for all of their hard work. Go Heels!

Most of are aware it's hard to analysis a player in these All Star game, but small details should emerge. The guards will be taking most of the shots, and the rest of the team will have to rebound a miss in order to score. This game is going to have a lot of quick point guards, fully expect Kate Harping to be a shooting guard in this game. It's the team concept what will be of value to me, along with defense.
