Bracketology was fun with Bruce. He said but Auburn beat Florida, Arkansas and St. Johns. They shut him down, it was funny as hell.

What broadcast? I'd like to find that clip... love Bruce but his crashouts are funny as hell... I would do the same for my son

Dude , the more you post the stupider you look . Pearl retired on his own . You actually believe they would have gotten rid of him coming off a final four AND give his son the job .

Gotta love the Ole Anon posters.... they are all the same

Getting rid of Bruce wasnt the best idea was it
I don't agree. Once we hit the Big Dance, I am all in for our SEC schools to do well as long as we don't have to play them again. The last thing I would want if the the SEC to get 10 teams in and they all underperform, especially against the ACC. My biggest "root against" teams are UL and IU even more so but don't have to worry about that again this year, then it's DUKE, UNC, Kansas and UCONN.

Bruce left on his own. Just as Cal did.
I think Calipari was given the option of leaving or being fired once UK had grounds for contract breach - and from what was reported about the contract terms it sounds like UK had the leverage. It was a godsend for UK getting out from under the ridiculous contract Barnhart had given Calipari.

I think if we're being technical to the letter, this is what happened.

But, Cal was already married. He decided to go on a few dates with another woman. He was told he could leave and save face or we could divorce him in embarrassing fashion.

So, yes. We told him he wasn't going to be welcome back.

But, make no mistake. He initiated the Arkansas thing. If he wasn't sniffing around another woman, he wouldn't have been fired.

That's funny. Had to give you more than just a like for that.

No mention here of Bruce retiring at the midnight hour so Auburn had no choice but to hire his son?

Its Auburn. Couldn't care less about them. Terrible program who saw a brief glimmer of competence before returning to their rightful place in the cellar.
