This is not a charge of simple possession for personal use. From the report:

Alabama men’s basketball guard Aden Holloway was arrested on Monday morning after agents with the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force conducted a search of his residence, according to the Tuscaloosa police department. The agents recovered more than a pound of marijuana, paraphernalia and cash, and Holloway was charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and failure to affix a tax stamp. He was then transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail.

Bond was set at $5,000.

Selfishly i want him to play. Michigan's road to the Elite 8 is complete joke. 16 seed, either Georgia or St Louis, and injured TT team or shorthanded Bama.

You have to give the kid some credit, investing his NIL in a business venture to make money. Granted not the wisest decision but better than blowing it on tats and bling.
