It my take a bit of time but here are all the results.

Thumbing through the history book I got for ncaa wrestling. in 1942 were there was only 8 weights Oklahoma A&M(State) had 4 Michigan state 3 including twins. and Penn had 1. Could be more years. That year just caught my eye

Since expanding to 10/11 weights in 1952 the fewest schools with a champion is five.

This happened twice. First in 1972 with Iowa State (3), Michigan State (3), Clarion (2), Penn State (1), and Washington (1) hogging the titles.

In 1997 it was Iowa (5), Oklahoma State (2), Iowa State (1), Lock Haven (1), and Penn State (1) taking home all the individual honors.

In percentage terms, as mentioned above, 1942 was the greediest year.

At the other end of the spectrum 1963, 1988, 2000, 2004, 2007, and 2009 saw ten teams take home the ten individual titles. And in 1967 it was ten teams winning eleven weights.

The most common outcome is for seven teams to share the spoils. In the ten weight era it looks like:
