Had this rant the other day. I don't really care what people wear casually but people that dress professionally need to shame the people that have embraced the slim cut and short pants trend. It doesn't even look good on people who have the physique for it. Bring back classic fitting pants that rest on the shoe with a little break.

Speaking of Carhartt they started putting a ton of poly in their jeans. Anyone have a denim jean?

All I wear now are underarmour golf pants. Super comfortable, fine for anything business casual, and low maintenance. Just pull them out of the dryer and put them on.

Basically do the same but with Peter Millar. Guess I need to try some underarmour to see how they fit because the price of hte peter Millar do suck, although the ones I've been wearing non-stop for 4 or 5 years now are still holding up fine, so I guess they're not that expensive in context.

Team comfy fit. The only way to go.

Team tight pants fit just needs to go ahead and start wearing the lady leggings

Look....... @DesotoCountyDawg is beyond correct in the wear your dress pants proper. this 4" above the shoe is Gay and Retarded.

I don't mind the slimmer cut pants, and I think there is a slimmer cut that still hangs well and looks proper.

Men (*note use of word MEN) DO NOT wear leggings. There is simply no argument to be maid here. If you are a male and wearing leggings....Man up B*tch!

slimmer cut pants and these stretchy fabrics......I have some pants that I wear that are stretchy, and them sum b*tches are comfy as all get out, and even my D*amn levis I wear with my traditional boots, got some stretch to them, and as a bigger / thick kid.....I have learned to appreciate the stretch (***reminds me of dad's old "Sansabelt" slacks)

I bought a pair of Amazon basics blue jeans the other day for 10 bucks. Fit well. Let’s see how they hold up in the wash.
I bought a pair of Amazon essential khaki pants, all cotton no stretchy, a couple years ago. Still wearing them today and they are the most comfortable pair of pants I have ever worn. Problem is, they don't have them anymore and I need a few more pair.
Carhart shirts are a disgrace. I don't know who they were cut to fit but it wasn't human beings.
That is really all I wear for casual wear.

The Haggar work to weekend khaki’s were a blessing in disguise. I see you don’t like the expandable waste pants though. Sounds like a problem you knew to get over.
Nope, if I have to I'll pay to get exactly what I want.

A man shops for clothes at two places, Tractor Supply and Academy. Start there, if they don’t have it, you don’t need it.
I wear Magellan pants for work. They've got a few different colors from light to dark khakis, and some dark gray. My work varies from office to out in dirt & grease. These look good enough to wear in an office and have been durable enough for the occasional real work day. No adjustment / elastic in the waist, and they fit down over my boots. Perfect for me.

Not necessarily old school but Kuhl pants are the best pants I’ve ever worn. May just fit my body but they are my go to for khaki pants.
I have 2 pairs of their Slax, as well as a couple pairs of some more casual technical fabric pants.

I was really bummed to find out their Slax are no longer made in 36" inseam.
Those things fit me perfectly as don't look stupid. That's a rare combo. Should have bought more earlier.

Greg Norman 5 pocket pants sold at Costco seasonally is a good option. Went there this week and they didn’t have any though.

I haven’t bought a pair of Kuhls off a store rack in years. I buy 3-4 pair off eBay for the price of one pair in the store. I’ll occasionally get a pair with a stain or hole but most of the time they are like new.

So many pants have gotten away from having 36 inseams as an option.

The new Rural King store in Columbus (think Tractor Supply on steroids) has their own brand of jeans for $11.00. I've been tempted to try one pair, don't look bad at all but will they split down the rear azz seam the first time you bend over is the real question.

For that price, it's worth finding out. Just make sure you drop your keys in public for the test.

I'm trying to find some casual cotton old school type kaki pants that aren't stretchy or drawstring, elastic, tight at the ankle. I can't find them anywhere, everything is stretchy or elastic waist or "flexible".
Try Duck Head pants. I wore them back in the 80's and they have come back with a modern twist. I little stretch, but not too much. The bottoms aren't too skinny, but way less than bell bottoms. Reasonably priced as well. I bought a couple pairs of corduroy and wear them all the time to work. Can wear them multiple days without them looking bad.

Do they make those in a men's size? I know a lot of women who would look good in these.
