yep lots of places with buffets back in the day that no longer have them...I still remember back in the day when Wendy's had their buffet, the "Wendys SuperBar!!!" lol Many of the young'ins on the board don't remember those days when these places had buffets.

YES ... I remember the Wendy's Salad Bar !! Dairy Queen had one, too. Folks from Lexington surely remember the daily lunch buffet at The Little Inn with the dude cutting slices of steamboat round roast beef ... but I was there for the KILLER Fried Cod !!! 😎

yep lots of places with buffets back in the day. I remember going to my local Olde Country Buffet back in the day, and they always had the dude cutting slices of the roast beef, and another one slicing the ham on demand, lol.

I need to be working but you’ve taken me on a path of reminiscing. Shoo wee the old general stores. Had the wooden floors. Walk back to the deli and they’d slice you off a piece of bologna (extra thick) for a bologna and cheese sandwich with an RC Cola. Boys at that time, that was living right there. lol

I remember back in the day, Kmart used to have that counter behind the cash registers that sold ICEE's, pop corn and those rotating hot dogs that were kept warm in that weird heat lamp mini oven contraption. Half the kids on the board probably don't even remember when Kmart existed as a national chain, lol. Blue light special, indeed.
