No one told the fans last night, when the crowd was larger than it ever has been for any Marlins game in park history. Looks like the same is probably true tonight, but I'll wait for the official confirmation.

It would be easy to automate it & call every pitch in real time. Umpire has an earpiece or indicator. System feeds him the call & he makes it. On the rare cases the system malfunctions he just makes the call the old way. Inexcusable not to do this at the mlb level.
