If someone would have given me the option of losing to a top five team on the road and having the same university's basketball team beat the bearsharts with the SEC Tournament Championship Game on the line, I'd choose getting beat and the bearsharts losing.
Can you imagine if those cheating f'ers made the championship game, they'd bribed every official and paid off Vandy's players to throw the game (Vandy's seeding is already locked up, so they may not be totally focused on this game anyway). We can't lose basketball ground to them as they have the better coach (I hope he's gone in a year or two). We couldn't risk them making the tourney.
There's no shame in losing 2 of 3 on the road to a top 5 team. Had we played them at the Dude, we'd like won 2 of 3.
