Interested in shots taken by player, Plum and Young continue with hero ball it seems like. Maybe I'm wrong.
EDIT: Apparently not. Lol. I wasn't able to watch entire game, I must've caught it at times when Plum and Young were forcing up shots and drives. But they didn't do much shooting today. My mistake.
Paige is a #1 overall draft pick, she won’t be traded. So you’re waiting for her rookie contract to expire before that happens and hope that Dallas stays a crapfest so she doesn’t want to stay. Howard would be easier to get. She’s also a former #1 overall, but she’s an RFA this season following the 4th year of her rookie contract. Atlanta won’t want to lose her.
I know people like Kelsey Mitchell, but replacing her with a SG that has some more height and defensive ability would be huge as long as they can also shoot. Howard is exactly that.

So the obvious conspiracy question is why does Gray have to start every game?
Other teams manage to get almost a whole team of Olympians on their roster at one time, so it’s doable.
Seems like a player can just say I have **** going on and don’t want to play here anymore, release or trade me. And it does happens, at least sometimes.

The referees are very good. Very consistance and won't allow WNBA style mugging.
Also, there was a video review in the Puerto Rico game on a shot clock or end of quarter shot that was called late. Head official looks at it for a few seconds and says "it's late, do you agree?" Other ref says "yes." Head ref says to scorer "no basket, set shot clock at ___." Took about 30 seconds. In thw W that's at least 3-4 minutes of effing around.

The duration of monitor reviews clearly needs to be regulated. IMO 60 seconds is plenty of time to decide whether or not to overturn a call. If you can’t determine a reversal after 3 reviews/max 60 seconds, the call stands.
Refs aren’t perfect, but are pretty dang good. They missed the moving screen that they called a defensive foul on Caitlin. But mostly they’ve been good. And the review in yesterday’s game was excellently executed.
Howard can sign an offer with any team. Atlanta can then match and retain.
Paige is controlled until (I believe) 2028 by Dallas.
What exactly does Indiana have to offer to either team to get just one of them?

I will admit I was reading and posting hastily. I thought you were asking why Paige would demand a trade or release given the current players under contract for Indy.
Since 80% of the players are free agents, it’s tough to say, but they could sign a big name veteran that teams want, but would not be a great fit with CC and then trade her for Paige.
Bueckers is basically all Dallas has at this point. She's the only reason anyone is going to a game in that town. They aren't going to get rid of her.
The league would be much healthier if Clark and Bueckers stay in Indiana and Dallas and form rivalries with other cities.
Agreed, the league needs to avoid the situations like Las Vegas, Phoenix, and New York where multiple Olympians are rostered on the same team.
The 2024 Olympic roster had 4 from LV, 3 from PHX, 2 from NY, 1 from Seattle, 1 from Minny, and 1 from Conn.
3/4 of the USA Olympic roster coming from 3 teams is not good for competitive balance.
Not to mention that LV had 2 other players on Olympic rosters for other countries. Half their team were olympians. NY had 4 total olympians on their roster.
Yes, I tune it to that channel and watch. lolol.. Sorry, TruTV and TNT are on Comacast Xfinity, and I have access through them to Peacock as well. I pay for the B1G Network so my only issue is B1G+ games....
Can't be. Isn't Gray "the point God". Laughable. She couldn't carry Clarks lunch pale when it comes to the speed with which she see's and reacts to the game....
I'd love to see Paige play with CC22 and Boston. WNBA titles for sure. Paige understands as well as anyone how to play and succeed playing with other stars.
From reading this forum I thought ever WNBA player hated Caitlin. Now you are suggesting that they might want to play with her?
Those are the same people who said she doesn't have a problem with what Reese did in her face FOUR times in the championship game. Clark may have said that because she's smarter then a fox, but I can guarantee you a super type A competitor like her would NEVER be okay with someone dissing them that egregously.
