New Rutgers Women's Basketball coach Gary Redus II has made his first assistant hire, adding LSU assistant Daphne Mitchell to the staff.

Interesting that Redus is the head coach and Mitchell the assistant, given she has more experience (though not all folks want a HC job), but excited to have them both. Definitely a young staff thus far, particularly if the rumors about the TN assistant turn out to be true.

But to be fair, coming from a winning program and someone that will help instill a winning attitude in a program that needs to get back it's winning ways that had it's fans proud of the program.

Not just winning seasons, but great ones
