The GOAT ^^^^^

Just one contradictory thought.....SJU with Pitino is getting a 4 seed (after hammering UCONN). Seems like a good story to push.

His go to is Alphonso's in Somerville. He too much of a good eater. 2 pizzas a year for him is a stretch.
We go there quite often, but mostly for pasta and other dinner options. Great place! He needs to eat more pizza. Nomad Hopewell and Genteel's are our go-to places with Joe's from time to time.

All 68 schools correct

53 of 68 seeded correctly which is pretty good

67 of 68 within 1 seed

1 missed by 2..Vanderbilt

The f up was Vandy at 3...somehow a 5 im shaking my head there but its clear they undeevalued them given their metrics and 10 Q1 wins. Arky got the nod for 4 because they won today yet Vandy profile better

Nice job as always. Where does 52/68 stand in your all time success ratings?

Unofficially a 377 Paymon Score. I ve seen as high as 388 thus far.

Last year top was 376 but top scores will be probably be 385-390 this year

Find out tomorrow where I sit but Im pretty happy with my performance and glad I didnt over think with Auburn. The 8/9s are tight and tough to seed..osu tcu nova ut st all interchangable.

I had a feeling they were going to screw Miami (OH) but thankfully they didn't. If you watched the MAC championship game last night, Mark Adams, the color commentator was asked why Miami should get a bid. His answer, and I quote, was "because the bubble sucks and Miami doesn't"

apparently they were seeded last but I believe that SMU was the last team selected....vcu was actually seeded below Miami as an AQ so if Dayton beat VCU, the Rams would have missed the field

thank you. Its a labor of love. The matrix score is just a final exam where you hope to get a passing grade. The actual fun and reward is going to class and doing all the work and the discussion and interaction and feedback from the board. Yes definitely less traffic here than other years but definitely appreciate all who read and follow.

my first year i entered I was wide eyed and had a lot to learn and scored poorly..2nd year did much better and 3rd year finishing 3rd, last year a bit tougher didnt do as well as I wanted but my average even with that really bad first year puts me at 46 coming into this season. I wont land at the very top this year but likely will be above average and keep trying to move my 5 year average forward. I think moreso than getting a great score is the fun i have interacting with people and tracking it whether it be here or with other bracketologists on twitter.

So Im at 46 4yrs, this is my 5th. Lunardi 5 year avg at 125. Palm at 179 Mike De Courcy at 29 and Watchel referenced in the past here at 82

Makes little sense. No way to predict that. My gut feeling was they were going to leave Kansas as a 4 but I have no idea why they were kept as a 4 cause they genuinely suck at times

Crazy that anybody gives that jagoff Palm any airtime with his dog crap analysis. 179th LOL. Heck even Lunardi is low at 125.
