I’m saying it now. What a game. Our guys have given everything they’ve got.

This is the most physical team in the nation by far. Bringing a guy like Nik off the bench who is pure toughness and grit is such an advantage. There are very few teams that can match their physicality over 40 minutes. And they may have found some more offense with Cayden. He finishes stronger than Caleb. Got to have Pat back but I’m not picking against these guys,

Also way more confident with Cayden shooting free throws. Felt like 50/50 when Caleb or Sarr was up there shooting free throws.

When we lost Foster and Ngongba I thought, just mail in the ACC Tournament and focus on the NCAA Tournament. Boy was I wrong and I’m glad the program doesn’t listen to fans. This weekend gave our guys better situational opportunities more so than extra practices would. Also, even though the NCAA Tournament provides a day of rest, the boys now know that they can play through adversity. Great job by the coaching staff and players for taking this event seriously enough to get a taste of cutting down the nets. Shout out to Cayden, Darren and Nik for providing just enough contributions to help the team win the championship!

Agree! I just didn't want us to lose the first day. I felt pretty good when we got Clemson in round 2 because they don't have much size. I was then content on whatever happens, happens in the championship because they already exceeded my expectations and I knew UVA interior size was going to cause us problems. The guys were exhausted but dug deep and got the win. Think the early tough non conference scheduling helped us a ton.

Great win last night. Interested to see the brackets. I've found that brackets that seemed to be brutal worked out for us at times and brackets that seemed easy saw us getting ousted early. UConn as our 2 wouldn't surprise me. Seems like we usually get a tough second round game. Kentucky in round 2 would be interesting, but they are likely a 6 or 7 seed.

If Florida is a 1, they should get the toughest 2, which I think would be St John’s. The problem is you have 2 other really solid teams in the Big 12 that will most likely be 2 seeds in Houston and Iowa State, so I don’t think they’ll get put with Arizona.

Wouldn't surprise me they put Houston as Florida's 2. You know the committee loves narratives and what better narrative than the repeat of last year's championship game.

Most of the brackets I’ve seen, even this morning, has ST Johns as a 5 seed and a few in Duke’s bracket

Once it hits the sweet 16- it’s always very difficult no matter your draw. I do hope we get one of the play in 16 squads for the fist round and a lighter 8/9 so we can get two more games without Foster in. After that, who the hell knows.

Would love one of those 17-16 type of 16 seeds first game- can’t lie.

I'll go with the narrative factor that the committee loves... It'll be one of former Duke players... Kenny Blakeney with Howard or Nolan Smith with Tennessee State
