Are people really holding out hope he is returning?
Kid is absolutely fine, just doesn’t want to show anyone he’s not as good as advertised. Also, doesn’t want Pope to make him look even worse. So he sits.

I fully expect JQ to go off in the tournament like Shaedon Sharpe did.
What UK lacked JQ had if he had played. Interior defense and offensive rebounds. If anyone can’t see that your a basketball idiot and you have no opinion

I’m sick of JQ honestly. I wish he wouldn’t even travel with the team anymore. Let the guys who are actually sweating trying to win go and be there together. He has played like 40 minutes total this year! Yay.
I absolutely can’t wait for this season to be over so I never have to see that kids name or initials on this board again.

Hearing about his knee swelling and him “wanting” to play is so old now. Like I’ve said before if his knee is swelling after all this time, he has major knee issues still. If that’s the case he won’t be at the combine or summer league. We shall see.
Yeah. He either needs another surgery or he’s sat out because his handlers made him. We will see. He’s strictly a defender, rebounder, rim runner when fully healthy. drafting him in the lottery is a good way for a GM to lose his job.

He is fine. I mean, I can’t prove it, but I’m sure of it. Kid will prove it for me as soon as the seasons over and he’s working out for teams.
Haven’t you heard, he’s a starter that just added to Pope’s poor injury luck. I heard Pope lost all 5 starters, how can you expect to win when the whole team is injured!
Pope has made plenty of mistakes. But
I’m not sure how it can be disputed that injuries have really affected both his seasons here.
Injuries affect everyone, though. We’re just about the only ones who make a big deal about them. (At least when talking to other fanbases who note how much Kentucky fans whine about injuries)
What top teams this year have had season ending injuries to 3 key players? And again I frankly don’t care what other fan bases think.
He's not coming back and, if he did, not sure it would make any difference. Pope rolled the dice on JQ and it was a bust. Bad return on investment.
You know, you’d think after he completely shut down Ejifor, he’d want to get his butt on the floor and help this team win. We don’t need his offense. He would get some dunks and putbacks. What we need is his defensive prowess against teams like Florida and whoever has big strong interiors. Just shows he don’t want to play ball, OR he’s afraid of playing himself to an even worse level. Thats why he should come back and prove himself next season then solidify that draft spot once again. Doubt he’s back though, one way or another.
