Mark Pope: Please take note

Vanderbilt and Florida, like so many teams in March, play 7 players with 1 player at around 6 to 8 minutes. Why? that's all they have in terms of "prime time players".

Johnson is the 5-8 minute guy. Kam is not back 100%.

Due to injury, thats all we have....

Why is it so difficult for him to understand this? We’re waiting for Pope to “learn on the job” so why isn’t he learning?

If Chandler can’t break out of his slump, we will need Kam and/or Jasper to make some outside shots.

If there can only be 7, I would make Kam #6 and give BG #7 with a tiny amount of rope so that if he is good BG let's roll if he is bonehead BG, he is immediately replaced by Jelly

Big problem for Pope this season - he acted like he had a 10-deep roster, even when UK had 3 guys in street clothes that represented 3 of the top 5 overall players on the roster. He would predictably sub guys in every game, at the same moment, and you could gameplan for it and go on a run, which most teams did.

I know what you meant, but logically the sentence looks like:
Chandler breaks out of slump --> need Kam and/or Jasper to make outside shots
Chandler doesn't break out of slump --> Kam and/or Jasper can shoot without consequence, **** it.

Left off the “‘t”. My point was that if Chandler isn’t sinking shots, somebody’s gotta step up.

I just hope that he didn't make promises about playing time and platooning.....which would explain why he is still sticking to that gameplan against all good reason.
