Fellow gamecocks we’ve replaced Vandy as the new cellar dweller in men’s sec sports. This has been a phenomenal year for Vandy and I don’t understand it, a small private school all of a sudden attracting these great athletes. We’ve got a larger school and bigger alumni base. Where are they getting all that NIL money from and why can’t we eclipse that? Just asking to try to understand why they are outperforming us in men’s sports.

I get the feeling like at Vandy that their coaches ( insert sport here) know what they want to do and how they want to play and put together teams to achieve that objective and identity. We on the other hand seem to wonder mindlessly in search of some kind of winning combination based on the cards we were dealt. Maybe I'm wrong, just feels that way.
