More like we did not take advantage of Florida's shooting woes like Vandy has and also Florida has had a hard time defending Vandy's outside game.

Right. If we shot the ball like Vandy has, we win easily and UF's rebounding edge looks a lot more respectable too.
We played well but couldn't hit anything. We depend on shooting at a decent clip and even more so against a team like UF.

Well, I guess I can't speak for you as I doubt an actual UK fan would be beating their chest at teams that's beat us twice in the last week.

Football is great and a chess match. Basketball can be too- but sometimes with basketball- if a team just gets hot- that chess match doesn't mean jack. If I can still make shots over your big tall guys- I can still win regardless how well and good you play.

I like you as a poster but can't you see the differenct in how Florida played yesterday against us and then today against Vandy? They were flat, flat and flat. They just had no passion. Dykes made comments the whole game about Florida being outworked. We didn't get open layups yesteday but Vandy got a bunch today.
I can. I just don't care. They beat us three times. We have no room to talk. They could very well go on a title run and use this loss to fuel them. Even if they don't- they just won a title last year.
Meanwhile, our last hardware of any type was SIX YEARS AGO when we TIED for the SEC Reg Season and we're worried if we'll even make a second weekend.

I get all that. I have to admit that I am a bit sick of all the "We want Golden" threads but I was actually cheering for them to go all the way until our game yesterday. The way that they acted rubbed me the wrong way and I decided I wanted to see them lose.
We are having a tough year. It happens. Hopefully, we will ALL be watching a far better UK team next year! As I said in another thread, I lived through the Georgetown final debacle and the Sutton debacle, etc. We are down but will be back.

Yeah this is not a good year, but we are in Kentucky and we had some real downtime through the years and we've come back.. It's actually known that we are more than any individual coach. We are the best program around by far. Hell, even when we're having a down year like this, we're all college basketball talks about. Could have been where they beat us the other times we played that it was a mental obstacle for most of the team. We missed a good opportunity to beat them, but it is what it is. Goldens a good coach but dang he’s arrogant. I’m glad Vandy beat them.
