Based on the deity status HC I.T. Kicker holds within the university and the fanbase, a record close to that prediction would merit a five year extension and naming the stadium and field after him.

King Gregory Edward Schiano Field at King Gregory Edward Schiano Stadium.

He would deserve it. Keep Choppin like a boss Greg.

That’s a pretty soft number. Probably justified with a question mark at qb and a rough home schedule. I’d be comfortable taking the over

That stinks to see but I'm not shocked. I try to approach every season with optimism, but the transfer portal haul seems uninspiring.

If we don’t crush that Over/Under Win total 2.0 should be shown the door.

At this point in Schiano 2.0, the minimum expectation should be 5 conference wins. 8 total. All these new coaches and army of support staff need to make that happen.
With 102 on the coaching staff, that is 1 conference wins for every 20 coaches, and 1 total win for every 12.5 coaches.

With an entire new defensive coaching staff and almost an entirely new group of defensive players, plus a new quarterback it seems ridiculous to speculate on the 2026 record. Perhaps it would be better to wait until after the Spring game. Oh...wait.

So you're saying Greg needs to hire a bunch more help if he's going to lead RU into the National Championship game this upcoming season.
As for your numbers a little checking shown less:
>As of March 13, 2026, the Rutgers football staff consists of
approximately 94 members, comprised of 15 primary coaches and roughly 79 support staff members.<
But you might be counting some undeclared girlfriends of staff members that might not be listed in what I found .
Heck if the kids can be given positions, why not girlfriends, ( as long as they don't get on the back of motorcycles for a ride :))

You won’t if you’re in NJ. Can’t bet on it in state. Same link, different state:

So gamblers think we're pretty likely to have at least five wins. Is there some way to know what the odds are on our winning six games and becoming bowl-eligible? We're entitled to be very disappointed if we miss the post-season once again. I thought it was great that we hired Schiano again, but I fear he's lost the fire in his belly he had his first time around.

BC was 2-10 last year, beating only Fordham and Syracuse.
We're in big trouble if we can't beat BC.
Yes after Week 2 we will see where this team is headed. Hopefully well beyond 5 wins.

It's a contract game now. Give him some NIL and let him sink or swim, then you can sell the next coach on having funds and the fact the school gives a lot of time to build.

7 years in modern day football might as well be 25. Nothing is changing now. Mitigate the buyout and raise funds for the next guy.
