Why risk throwing it?Little selfish by Hull imo
From this thread I have NoClue who has 66-1 and walk the lead off batter. I’m fuming. I made my guys run for walking the lead off batters.
Why throw that in when the runner has conceded hisself?Little selfish by Hull imo

I respect your takes. I’d like to hear your reasoning for Hull running it in instead of just throwing it to Gallaher.Really impressive play from Owen, that’s a big league read and decision to run that in.

There’s nothing wrong with either decision. Although rare, and I’m paraphrasing Dusty Baker said “there’s a thousand ways a throw that isn’t needed can go wrong, the only way you’re going to screw up running the baseball in after a stolen out is to trip over your own feet”. Like I said, either works and the throw is going to happen 99/100 of times but just really good awareness to not risk a bad throw when the runner is halfway home and you have less than 80’ to run.I respect your takes. I’d like to hear your reasoning for Hull running it in instead of just throwing it to Gallaher.
