On talent you’d love to get Miami OH but I’d rather not set up that storyline.

Out of that list, give me either Santa Clara or Miami OH as our 10 seed without question.
Which probably means we get either NC State or St. Louis (and an opportunity for Pope to prove himself against one of the names some have floated around to replace him).
2 seed, IDK.... all would be difficult for this bunch, and the 10 seed probably wouldn't be a cakewalk.

Does it matter? I will hope for the best but must admit a lot of apathy about our team and chances.
I would love to get Miami OH in round 1, but I don't think we'll get that lucky. Round 2, maybe this is crazy, but I want Houston. We seem to do well against Tennessee and it's a similar style.
They are going to give us an 8 or 9 so we have to play a number one if we win.
We were universally a 7 seed with a chance to lock up a 6 seed today. We lost to a top 4 team by single digits. We're not falling an entire seed line or 2 seed lines.
I appreciate the whole "Everyone is just guessing what the committee will do," but the Bracket Matrix guys have gotten pretty good at it over the past several years.

I’m gonna root for UCF (they have been BAD lately), and then I would personally love UCONN as our 2 seed. They have struggled. Or Mich State
Hurley vs Pope is like a 1 seed of coaching vs a 16 seed.
As it stands, we project as a 7 and BYU projects as a 6. So we wouldn't see them until the Sweet 16 assuming both teams get there.
Well we can't play Texas A&M in the first round and can't play Missouri in the 1st 2 rounds so it won't be those guys.

St Louis and Illinois. Seems like both have peaked. We may peak about June.
No strength of schedule helps us tremendously. I'm not happy with the state of the program but we had a top 2 schedule and 5 wins against ranked opponents.
It's SOS and quality wins. Most of our losses were against NCAA tournament teams aside from Auburn. 7 or an 8 seed realistically.
They weren't that good the last few times we played them in the NCAA tourney. I don't want to see them.

Well I’d say that could only happen in the sweet 16 because of where the 2 teams will be seeded . But I would love that matchup considering our other choices.

Nothing is guaranteed with this team but 20-13 against a schedule ranked #31 doesn't sound all that impressive.
Some of these guys are infatuated with Will Wade. Why? I have no idea.
