This is a great game. Believe Maiden is the overall better team. Have the Blue Devils even missed a free throw ? And if the commentator is correct, they have NO fouls. How does a team play defense that close and have no fouls? Their coaching is incredible.
If Maiden can play this hard in the second half I see them winning, but Fairmont is a tough team and has one of the best if not the best player on the floor.

By far the better team but they are letting this team hang around, they need to put the hammer down
Maiden by 3 with 6 1/2 minutes left in the game. If the they can hold on Creek and some of the fellers might have a gathering, like when they make a fire in that metal drum. Not sure why they do that but there’s a reason floating around out there. Anyway, all the best to the Blue Devils.
Maiden's lack of coaching is hurting them. They have a super athletic big girl inside they are totally ignoring.

Who won it for them? That's a strange situation they have there this year.
A big congratulations to the Maiden Blue Devils, state champs. Their coach Hensley also said he will be retiring. Now that’s some exit. Way to go everybody.
Maybe I’m off on this, but Fairmont looked like a really good team with Duran and McNair. Not surprised by the close score. For Maiden, Very few fouls, strong defense and good free-throw shooting seems like pretty good coaching.

Low scoring game for both teams when you look at season averages.
Cauthen, who was on fire for Reidsville against Washington last week, has been quiet so far with only 2 points. But he does have 4 huge assists.
I have no doubt they'll (Fairmont) be back next year to win it all. Very young team.
Another thing that helped Maiden was rebounding. I think they had around 15 more than Fairmont but I don't remember exactly.
