Did not realize how unlikeable Fla players and HC are, Golden can go back to chasing coeds now...

I hope Condon tears his ACL. He 100% purposely hit Chandler in the face. BS

Golden has quickly become the Spurrier of SEC basketball. Hate him if isn't yours but love him if he is. Can't argue with the results though. He is a twerp and a creep but knows how to coach MBB.

One may not love his players, but boy they are good and play hard for him. Very coachable guys who give 110% effort and play to Golden's system.

That said, F UF (but I have to respect they are where we want to once again be).
It’s actually funny you mention Spurrier. One of Spurriers quotes was this.

“Nobody likes you when you are winning”.

No one was more arrogant than Swaggy Cal. I had no problems with his arrogance when he was winning here.

You don't know everybody here.

Cal got pantsed not too long after he got here, and I stopped listening to him after his first season. He was clearly every bit the used car salesman in a nice suit people thought he was at Memphis. He lost way more titles here than he was given by the 2012 team that won in spite of him.

There are plenty of people that said as much at the time. You should've been around then.

If there had been a dk pic & stalking incident with Cal, I'd have had no problem with them tossing him out the door at any point just on the suspicion of it. I'm just like that though. They do it to players without proof, BUT coaches always get a pass on the harshest treatment if they're winning.

Fans with sour grapes better realize that Golden is the next Pitino/ K, and UK better have him zeroed in for their next hire, and if not, we are all going to be talking about what might have been for years to come, when he lands at Kansas or UNC!

You don’t have to worry about him going to Kansas or UNC either. His next job will be in the NBA.

I swear, so many of you want to pine for Pope, knowing he’ll make us a perennial bottom dweller, but you refuse to act like a perennial bottom dweller. Ya’ll are acting like a bunch of arrogant jackasses with nothing to back it up. It’s pathetic.

Donovan was a great coach and had a great run at UofF. Always did it with class.

Golden is also obviously a great coach. He chooses to go the s hit talk route and act like a prick. His prerogative.
Donovan did have class, he didn’t say things like golden has today and lately. Golden has had a lot of success early which can cause arrogance and cockiness which he has now. His mouth is going to make a lot of enemies, we will see if he can stay on top after his core group of big men leave. He’s never dealt with multiple season ending injuries to any of his top players or faced much adversity there yet. Getting to the top was to easy staying there will be a lot harder, he will find out. His mouth is going to get him, it’s gotten a whole lot bigger this year.

I don't think that's a UK fan either. Just someone bent on stirring up trouble.

Florida isn't the first team to beat another team 3 times in a season. They're just the latest. It's hard to beat a good team, period. 1, 2, or 3 times, and they're clearly good. If one of their primary players gets injured, they'll struggle like other teams do.

No matter what any coach says, they look to
Kentucky as the gold standard (although struggling). Our fans still take over towns when we are there to play. We fill the stands and the air with excitement. No matter how many championships Golden wins at Florida, he will always be second to football and a past time while baseball is heating up.

Yeah that hard to beat a team three times bulls.hit, went out the door with Florida. But they are a final four team.
It's hard to beat a team 3 times unless you are much better than them. The entire reason I wanted to avoid TN in the tourney last year. We were better but only very slightly.

If he were our coach, we love his arrogance.
Probably. I really don't know the details of his previous issues, so I won't even comment on that.

I do remember a time when Kentucky fans thought Calipari was the worst human in college basketball, but welcomed him as well. Not the same circumstances, but it's always amazing how quickly people change their opinions of someone.

I really don't think we would beat Florida in 10 tries. They are a lot more under control, and cool headed then we are. But I hope we get another shot in the NCAA tourney .
