Our guys played hard and with great heart. If the threes had been falling, it might have turned out different. FL has a great rebounding team, but I think in the NCAA they get beat by a team with very good guard play.
Not a moral victory, but a disappointing loss when you consider how poorly Florida shot. With us shooting so poorly;, it was our effort that helped us seemingly have a chance late. That is how I saw it.Florida missed a ton of 3s too. People keep ignoring that with the moral victory narrative.
I'd be good with 1-2-3 Get Lost.“1-2-3 get money”
Son, I don’t care for your negativity right now, hop on this first round exit NCAA-T train before it departs the station.I disagree. We did not play with consistent effort today. We never do. Take plays off, no work on the glass (that’s all effort and positioning and we just did not go after it), miss a shot and just shrug and look at the ref instead of getting back on D (UF must have gotten about 10 points on that ******** alone). Poor effort for about 1/3 of the game by quite a few out there.
Florida screwed off all game.Florida missed a ton of 3s too. People keep ignoring that with the moral victory narrative.
I watched the Razornecks fold like a cheap card table and lose by 34 to Florida. Our guys have fight, their bigs are too much for our current lineup. JQ would have been helpful.I have seen every UF game this year. UK is the only team that does not fold when it gets going. Today was the same. Chandler seems like the only guy willing to hurt himself to win. UF has a team willing to dive on the floor at all times. I guess its a chemistry thing or maybe a $$$ thing. They haven't shot this badly in 12 games. But part of that is how hard UK makes them play. But take heart. Most of this UF team will probably be somewhere else next year. Its amazing how physical the refs let it get at times. But that plays into UFs hands.
We got our asses kicked 3 times by them.I'm with you. We could've packed it in when we got down 17. We didn't. Lots of heart and a lot to build on for next week. We've had 3 close battles with them
Better get used to them. That’s the norm now.I'm over moral victories.
Doubt it.We got our asses kicked 3 times by them.
We never led for a second of any game.
We never threatened to beat them.
And they aren’t that good.
They will most likely go home the first weekend.
They do that and more the entire season. Pope calling Oweh’s leadership today outstanding are grounds for removal!I disagree. We did not play with consistent effort today. We never do. Take plays off, no work on the glass (that’s all effort and positioning and we just did not go after it), miss a shot and just shrug and look at the ref instead of getting back on D (UF must have gotten about 10 points on that ******** alone). The defense played well and kept us in it. That was great effort. Rebounding advantage to FL was because of better players a d maybe lack of toughness on our part. I still think the guys played hard.50-29 rebounding tells me the effort wasn't there.
No. They didn’t play twice as hard, and we missed as many wide open threes as they did. Some of you don’t want to give our guys any credit at all. Sad.They played twice as hard as us and just missed all those wide open threes or it would’ve been a slaughter
Nobody said this was a “moral victory”. The guys played hard, rebounding aside.I'm over moral victories.
I give them credit for playing harder than that have all season, Florida still played harder and their sets made ours look like we’re JV Just so much better coached compared to us and they never stopped cutting and setting picks to get wide open. They missed a ton as did we but ours were well defended and a hand in the face. It is what it is. I hate it but the truth sometimes must be told. I can’t stand saying what I just said and I’m ashamed I need to. Of course I was wrong with the twice as hard comment but it sure looked that way on the court. I blame the coaching first.No. They didn’t play twice as hard, and we missed as many wide open threes as they did. Some of you don’t want to give our guys any credit at all. Sad.
Man enough with the moral victories. BBN can’t start accepting clean sweeps. Our guys played hard and with great heart. If the threes had been falling, it might have turned out different. FL has a great rebounding team, but I think in the NCAA they get beat by a team with very good guard play.
