What happened between Pope and Golden?

Golden is a confident, young coach who has the results to back up **** talking Pope and even Calipari a few weeks ago.

Wish we had a coach confident in their craft instead of one who looks like he might cry when the going gets tough.

Kentucky is a blue blood I get it but me personally I don’t care too much about what happened in the 40s and 50s when I wasn’t alive to actually witness it. Were you? And on top of that college sports is much different now.

With that being said Uk has 4 and UF has 3 titles during my lifetime.
The blue blood thing is worn out. Yeah we used to be dominant, but outside of Cal's first years you have to go back to the 90s. I'd rather be relevant now.

If you’re going to stan for Pope, why can’t you dumba**es learn to keep your head down when you lose instead of acting like sore losers and attack other fans and coaches? Some of you are legitimately embarrassing the Kentucky fanbase with your nonsense.

Florida fans are bandwagon; they only show up when their team is winning.
To be fair Florida is the only program in the country to have multiple national titles in both football and basketball. Also the only program in the country to have a national title in football, basketball and baseball. So that is probably ok when it comes to winning.

If it makes you feel better about things, use whatever standards, logic and cherry picked time frames that you want. Most losers live by their own logic, after all.

I agree with you. Me personally I only really care about how my team is doing when I’m actually alive to see it.

Kentucky is a blue blood for sure but most people these days probably don’t care about the 40s and 50s, etc. But I can understand how some fans want to hang on to that.

UF does have 3 national titles in the last 25 years to UKs 1. That is a good amount of time.

Yep.

I haven’t seen a Gator fan around here in ages until this year. Late 2000s we couldn’t get rid of them, then they just vanished for about 12 years or so.
I think Paco used to show up quite a bit back then, too. Hadn’t seen his handle in a while.

At least 47 years old trolling another team’s board? Are you autistic or something? You’re just a fan who has zero impact on the success of your favorite team. Anyone can become a Florida “fan”. I suppose that if your entire self-worth is directly tied to an activity involving people less than half your age, I would get why you would come here and troll like an eight year old kid. Kinda like a “my dad just beat your dad” vibe.

Golden can say whatever he wants. Kicked Popes butt 3 times this year. He can talk the talk because he can back it up.

Golden has kicked a lot of coaches asses this year, not just Popes, we have played them closer than most teams have. As for the blue blood thing, as long as we are the winningest team in college basketball history and have 8 national titles we are The Bluest of blue bloods. The last several years we haven’t been playing like we are, but we are still bringing out the best in every team we play. We will see how good Golden really is when the current front line is gone, every dog has his day. Kentucky will be back on top real soon, we’ve been down before and always come back!
