I’ve never seen a coach take so many shots at an opposing program. This goes back to mid season.

-mentions we have a 20 million dollar roster with a chuckle, as a dig.

-openly claps in Popes face when Oweh got a technical.

-awkwardly brings up how UK has never led in a game this year.

We’ve seen a lot of ******* coaches but i honestly can’t think of a coach worse than Golden.

We hated Bruce Pearl, but he was so complimentary. Roy Williams, Coach K, Billy D…all had class after a win. This dudes a douche.

Dude is on the spectrum like Hurley. It’s all great if you win. If Pope won a natty, we’d all be talking about how high class he is.

I think he’s a piece of s—t human and a great basketball coach.

Winning that title got his creepiness swept under the rug because winning is obviously the most important thing to a lot of people.

I don’t like arrogance or arrogant people.

I hope they get humbled in grand fashion in the next tournament, but they’re awfully damn good.

1. He is a douche for sure....his comments are poor sportsmanship
2. BUt it is what it is and he's winning...so he can be a douche if he wants.
3. Would be nice if we had a coach with a streak/plan to beat Golden's rear end and talk it back to him....but Pope is a p$#%....and Mitch is the politician that got us into another one of his bad decisions.

Agreed. Especially since my daughter doesn’t live in Lexington or isn’t an athlete at UK so the chances of her getting a dick pic from him are pretty low.

I’d take my chances at this point, mine is at Centre, that probably in range.

Was thinking this as well.

Not sure if his anger is due to not being offered the job or jealousy, but he acted his way out of being a possible replacement.

Is it actually an ad hominem attack if said hominem stalks young women and sends unsolicited pictures of his junk to them while in ghost mode on social media?

If we beat them a million times in a row I promise you friend I’d still think he’s a piece of s hit. My moral compass isn’t tied to winning basketball games.

Here’s the original article where the accusations came out. People can read it and make their own conclusions.

It’s really not complicated. He stalked these girls for about a year. They were students. The university heard rumors about him doing creepy s hit. But he’s a good coach, so what do they do?

In a pretty diabolically clever move they pre-empted and took control of the narrative and hired an independent firm from CA. But they hired them so investigate Title IX claims. So in this narrow definition the firm finds “no evidence” which of course sounds like that means no evidence of his creepy behavior but actually it just means they found no evidence of Title IX violations. And because it’s an independent investigation the an hool can’t comment. Actually pretty genius move from a PR crisis perspective.

Once the findings were released no way these girls are going to push this. Honestly I don’t think they were the ones that even brought it to the university's attention. School/booster probably quietly paid them off. Golden even had the great touch of publicly stating he’d been advised about his legal rights to sue for defamation. lol wonder why he never followed through on that?

And I want to be clear that I’m making a distinction between morals and ethics. Plenty of ethically shady coaches out there. Cal was for sure. Lots probably still today. Used to be a time Kelvin Sampson was considered shady for making phone calls. Thousand bucks in an envelope almost killed our basketball program.

Morally repugnant is a different ball game.

No he's a great coach, but can be somewhat unbecoming. Pitino, Knight, K, Hurley are not model citizens either, but were/are great coaches. I am fairly 'meh' with him talking; Cignetti kinda started it with the yapping (I do not remember Golden yapping as much last season). If Sherrone Moore had beaten Ohio State in November, he would still be coach at Michigan; winning cures all. When you don't, that's when you're screwed.

There is the Expression. ACT LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN THERE. .Usually directed at people who haven’t. Golden has been there. You may excuse a person ‘s behavior who hasn’t. His behavior really shows he is a Jerk.

Yes he is a good Coach. But that’s where it stops.
The rest of him reeks Pervert.

Their fans are just as bad as he is. Massive front runners. They were nowhere to be found until this year. And now they’re everywhere.

Between that and Golden turning out to be one of the biggest twerps in the sport if it’s them and Arkansas in the final i’m actually pulling for the razorbacks now.
