When I knew for sure it was time for tubby to go, we played UNC in 05 and got smacked by them and then again the next season.
In 06 we were no longer competing with the other perennial power houses. We got smacked by UNC, smacked by Kansas, smacked by Florida twice.
And then i think we lost 4 recruting battles with UNC for the SAME position. That’s right. We had recruting 4 power forwards all ranging from top 5-top 50 range and I think all 4 of them picked unc over us. I’ve never seen a coach flex harder on another coach than Roy did on tubby during that recruting cycle.
That’s pretty much all of college basketball on Pope in recruting right now and now it’s obvious we aren’t in the same class as the title contenders as Florida is about to go 3-0 on us with none of them really being in doubt.

Noah just isn't a good shooter . He is constantly wide open, but still shoots a low percentage on open looks.
