This is my first time not being there. And I won’t spend another dime on tickets, hotels or travel to watch a Pope coached team live.
But it very expensive. We always stay downtown. Get lower level seats. It’s about a $4K trip.
Yep Golden didn't offer the sky because he knew the limitations of DA. Florida hasn't missed a beat. Same with MD and Alabama. We overpaid for 2nd stringers
Attending the SEC Tournament is an expensive proposition and fans aren’t willing to spend their hard earned money for what as UK goes, a substandard UK team.
Yea I mean I’m consistent. Every coach in history could have saved his job by simply saying I can’t hit shots for them lol. wtf is that sht? No coaches get fired they couldn’t play the game for them?
It’s all on the coaches unless for a few games where the players just didn’t come out. Even that ends up on the coach he recruited them.
I’ve seen quite a few fla misses where we have position and are boxing out and the miss is like a crazy long rebound that goes completely behind our players

A 6'9 player at the 3 means a lot more to the size of your team than one inch at center. They bring 7'2 off the bench. Have a 7'9 at the bench and play at least 32 minutes a game with THREE 6'9 or taller players. They are bigger

Yea but you can’t go by that. Kentucky matches final fours (might have more?) we were in 2 title games and we beat the **** out of Florida in that span. Hell I think we’re 11-2 in Gainesville the last 13. Go back 30 years and look. 50 years and look. 70 years and look. The cherry picking is stupid.
We made a bad hire and Florida got lucky. They are hit and miss and mostly miss. They aren’t the standard in the conference. Once golden leaves just like Donovan they go back down. Kentucky is choosing to not be elite right now, it’s a choice here. Get the guy out.
Agree on the second two, but I don't think he dislikes Pope that much. On game day, he probably dislikes whoever is on the other side during the matchup. The only coach I think he really dislikes all the time is Dan Hurley. There seems to be a rivalry growing between these two guys.
We’ve had a ton of blocks, steals, and deflections. It’s more than them not shooting good. Negative people will just be negative I guess.
I’m sure he’s like every other coach in the SEC and loves Pope being at UK.

This Florida team is good, not great. They're 25-6 and lost to Auburn at home. A team with great guards will knock them out. They're just a matchup nightmare for us.
