I love Devin Booker. If I had to rank my current favorite NBA cats he’d be way up there. Wish they had beaten Milwaukee back in 2021. Had em down 2-0 and just fell apart. Book was so close to getting a ring.

I fear he and the suns missed their window. Because it looks like the West is going to be all Spurs and OKC for the next several years now.

If we're going to wish something for Devin let's go with #9 in 2015.

A yes, the internet, where vague comments said assertively like “I know many” and “lots of people are saying” or “lots of people are questioning” get thrown around without anything to back it up and you have to argue against it. Unfortunately this is about 99% of reporting for actual important things too and is just a total detriment to society.

My hot take is he’s really accomplished nothing outside of that suns run to the finals. Pretty face that score points, will have no real legacy.

He was the 13th pick in the draft. What do you people expect?

He's won 2 gold medals, been an all star 5 times, all nba twice, all time sun's leading scorer and averaging almost 25 per game for his career. Gonna probably be in the HOF one day too if he keeps up his production.

I know many dislike the guy. But he has always shown love for UK fans.
thats all, carry on
Wait, who dislikes him? Cats fans? I haven't seen that. I love Booker.

Yea, hasn’t won anything in the league and likely never will.

I think your point of mentioning ppg sums up my feelings on him, it’s nice, but window dressing nonetheless.

Booker and Trey Lyle’s began the downfall of the cal years because they could have returned but cal pushed em out.

I honestly didn't know that people didn't like Booker.
Booker brought out the Arkansas shoes for Calipari (not for Arkansas lol) and X went nuts with Arkansas fans claiming booker as their own. That fanbase has little brother syndrome so bad it’s incredible. Especially on X. They’ve spent 30 years thinking about UK we must never paid attention. So booker caught a lot of hell for it then I guess brought out the UK stuff to remind them where he is.

Calipari is the problem here. He shouldn’t be out there hurting his players legacies at their home and should be telling them not to get involved. But in calipari fashion, this is who he is.

You’re spot on with Calipari. I don’t know about his time at UMass, but since he came back to college Calipari has been all about him and his legacy (e.g., the players – preferably freshman - he “put” in the NBA) and, unlike about every other coach at a top program, hasn’t even pretended to push the school he’s at.

Sure, Calipari is happy for the kids that get drafted. But if anyone believes the marketing major’s primary goal is “helping families” they’re pretty naïve in my opinion. Likewise, if they still believe his primary goal is winning titles.
