He hits the clutch shots!I will miss him next year.
Close 2 - 37-117 - 31.6% that's a layup, putback, or hook shot inside the restricted areaHe's deceptively solid from 3.
His midrange J's are another story...
00 is the man. He deserved 1st team SEC for sure. Shows how much team success means. He balled out every conference game and still couldn’t get first team after being Pre- season POY.He hits the clutch shots!I will miss him next year.
He made a clutch jumper yesterday to make it 7 with 1:30 left as well. It’s a real shame he is called a “black hole” by many. He is the star of our team. Dude is clutch!!!
Close 2 - 37-117 - 31.6% that's a layup, putback, or hook shot inside the restricted area
Far 2 - 169 - 327 - 51.7% that's anything outside the restricted paint or but inside the 3 point line
3P - 41 - 119 - 34.5% of course behind the 3 point line
I was thinking the same thing. Honestly have never seen a team miss so many layups or dribble the ball off their legs and out of bounds. Is that accurate? If so I'd imagine that's quite horrendous compared to most players lol.
Those are the shots that cause people to call him a black hole. He tries to go up against 2 or 3 guys and it might as well be a turnover. Is that accurate? If so I'd imagine that's quite horrendous compared to most players lol.
For the most part, I was not upset with his 3's, but I was upset with several possession's where the Cat's never took the ball past the top of the 3pt line and maybe made one pass if that then jacked up a bad three, those were basically turnovers and let Missouri back in the game,He hits the clutch shots!I will miss him next year.
very much so.00 is the man. He deserved 1st team SEC for sure.
yes it is accurateIs that accurate? If so I'd imagine that's quite horrendous compared to most players lol.
That's a BIG FU to him00 is the man. He deserved 1st team SEC for sure. Shows how much team success means. He balled out every conference game and still couldn’t get first team after being Pre- season POY.
Absolutely true, but he's been forced to carry quite a load this season. I get aggravated at times but he makes big plays. Hope he keeps it going for a few more weeks. Those are the shots that cause people to call him a black hole. He tries to go up against 2 or 3 guys and it might as well be a turnover.
When he plays within himself, shoots the open 3s , hits that midrange one on one iso ball and is able to drive to the lane one on one or a fast break or cut he’s money. Problem is too often he forces 4-5 a game he should pass out instead. Guy could be so much better with a few tweaks to his game.
His ball watching does make me mad but he does so much good. We would be so trash without him.I give him hell for his boneheaded mistakes and defensive lapse's but he's very clutch at the end of games . Always willing to bang like heck on offensive and is hard to stop . Today for example , he did soooo much good , but late in the game gets a missed short short by Denzel I believe or Colin and there are 3 Miz guys there and him .. he throws up some off balance crap instead of backing itt out , then gets caught ball watching and his guy ( tall 6'10 guy) buries a wide open three , at a BIG time in the game . Got to take the bad with the very good.
the hate oweh has received from BBN will go down as an all time head scratcher. dude is surrounded by average to below average players and needs to get 20+ every game just for a chance to win the game.
and for the most part has to guard the other teams best perimeter player.I’ve always defended him too and always will. He’s one of the most consistent offensive players we have had.
And plays 38 minutes a game. If anyone has the right to claim fatigue it’s him and Aberdeen.and for the most part has to guard the other teams best perimeter player.
6th in scoring, 9th in minutes, 5th in FG made, 4th in steals AND like most on the list he's not a PGIt really is with his stats.
I don’t think that’s accurate. I’m not sure where they got that info from because I believe they’re a good faith poster, but those numbers showing Oweh being terrible at the rim and above 50% in the midrange are all out of whack compared to what I can find on Torvik. Is that accurate? If so I'd imagine that's quite horrendous compared to most players lol.
He's the star of a KY team that is bad by KY standards.. I bet we get a TEAM next year and forget about him quickly when we see the ball being whipped around the court, and more wins. It’s a real shame he is called a “black hole” by many. He is the star of our team. Dude is clutch!!!

They have him at a much more respectable 63.4% at the rim and a not so great 32.8% on all other 2 point attempts, which feels much more reasonable.
Where does one find stats like these?Close 2 - 37-117 - 31.6% that's a layup, putback, or hook shot inside the restricted area

And layups YikesHe's deceptively solid from 3.
His midrange J's are another story...
His shooting % at the rim may not be the highest, but his ability to generate shots at the gym is his best skill. And layups Yikes
Any sports analytical site just pot in the criteria you want to compareWhere does one find stats like these?
It's because he is a black hole. First 3 minutes of FL game, ball never went anywhere after Oweh touched it.It’s a real shame he is called a “black hole” by many. He is the star of our team. Dude is clutch!!!
