I haven't checked the thread but what exactly is AF bringing to the table? Doesn't rebound, hangs out 24 feet from the basket but also can't shoot, and inexplicably also won't shoot if the ball happens to find its way to him in the paint.
The game in Columbus Thornton drove to the basket relentlessly. Looks like that is their plan again. Big body guard with a quick first step that Combs can't stop. Need some help down there.
Don't forget that Banks has only 7 minutes due to fouls (2) (5 points) and Howard and Sage were on the bench to close the half (3 points each). AF 9 minutes (0).
Jirak with great minutes and contributions aside from that one defensive breakdown. He’s playing physical and with some attitude we need. I’m bullish on his future.

Hawks desperately need someone like Alvaro to get going. But man has he been a disappointment. Any kind of resistance and he just wilts.
It's actually the complete opposite of the first meeting for OSU. They couldn't miss from outside and today it's honestly stupid if they don't go inside.

I expect Iowa to come out in the second half and ramp up the defensive intensity. I think we might see another run like yesterday.

Big time. Has had multiple chances to shoot 3 and 2 he fired up not even close. This time he can’t back his guy in with the 7 ft. Not having banks and cam last 8 min was huge. Don’t think we forced a turnover either during last part of half.
