Gotta have a 3rd scorer from here on out, whether it’s CC or whomever but someone has to help DA & OO. It could be a combo of guys but we need others to step up and help especially on offense.

I think it will be a close one. 4-5 point win for someone. It totally depends on how we start. I think we have the edge but it's very slight.

I have a feeling we lose. We're pretty much a coin flip with Missouri, and we just have not been playing well. Seems like there's a blueprint on how to defend us in our current iteration, and our defense has just been bad.

I think this can go either way. So I don't know.

We play at 12:30 on SECN Today.
If we play as efficient on offense as yesterday then yes. The issue that drives me crazy with this team is that we could have won our game by 15+ if we played smart basketball and any defense at all.

We play as a team, get up 9. Instead of playing defense and extending the lead we give up 2 easy buckets because we shoot 2 fast shots on our end that have no chance.

Aberdeen made a 3 and the next trip down up 9 he jacks up a 30 footer. That’s the Gotta get mine mentality that has killed this team all year. Jelly starts out on fire and they act like he doesn’t exist the rest of the game.

We played great offense all game yesterday but every time we get up 6 we start being selfish and not contesting shots on the other end. It’s maddening.

I voted yes. Idk why.
I'm right there with you. I did the exact same. Mizzou is weak around the rim and doesn't rebound very well. They're awful defensively. It's honestly a really even matchup. I think the Cats have more shot makers, which is what it will probably come down to.

We were up 8 with 4: 34 in our first matchup. 4 turnovers in that timespan did us in. Oweh missed the go ahead layup with 13 seconds to go. Hopefully, we can finish this time around!

BTW, we were something like 6 of 16 at the rim for the game! UGHHHHH!

I would also like to believe (or hope to believe) that at least some of these guys want revenge. I think Oweh will be invested, probably a few others like Chandler. That earlier Mizz loss should not have happened.

Did anyone see where Kam said last night that JQ could be back tomorrow if UK played Florida?

I didn't see it but saw a few folks talking about it on twitter.
We need to get our 3M worth somehow. If he comes back and leads us to a SECT title or Elite 8 or better than I will forgive him for this BS year. Until then it’s all talk and a waste of funds.

They executed everything they wanted down the stretch in that game and we looked lost on the other end. Very frustrating 4 min stretch.

No.

UK barely got its first win in Nashville this season.

Mizzou coach wants it more and brings the energy.

Mizzou by 6-10

We managed our minutes yesterday, Oweh had 38 1/2 minutes. Chandler had over 30 so the non scorers got plenty of rest. Pope is such a clown, talk one thing do the opposite. God bless this mess and save the starving pigmies.

I know this gets beat to death but how far we have fallen that we are "undecided" on a second round SEC tourney game against a so-so team. It once was losing to a team like Missouri a huge upset. Now, it won't be a huge shock and certainly not an upset. Sad.

It’s not really a coin flip. -3 to-5 point favorites based on all metrics. -3.5 at sports book and 67% to win. So we win 2 times out of 3. I think cats take it by 7.

Keys:
1) Shooting well
2) Defending Mitchell and limiting his impact on the inside game at both ends

GO CATS !!

If we win the SEC title or get to the E8 I ll will definitely apologize to Mark Pope and ask him very nicely to drop the restraining order.

Foshizzle My Drizzle! Cats by 5👍🏼

The more important question is…

Which player is going to come out red hot, only to be pulled by Pope at the 16 minute mark, and thrown in ice machine?😂
Jelly said hi 👋

I voted yes, but Missouri needs a win to stay on the right side of the bubble. They'll be tough. We need better shooting today. Hopefully Chandler has a legacy type of game and BG keeps up the production off the bench.

I think we win this one. Both of these teams are in imo. Texas on the other hand.........
