I have a feeling during this conf tourney, games will be close, just by nature. Teams seem more competitive.

Missouri has a hungry coach, whether his players will play the game like he wants it, that's the big question.

I think it’ll be a pick’em type line, their front court is better than ours but I do think we are going to need Chandler to knock a couple down along with some in the paint. Need our 4 bigs to get 20+ combined and stay out of foul trouble.

I don't know who will win, but I can promise you BG starts the game 0-4 from the field on 4 questionable attempts.
And you say this because its been true before......truth hurts. Im glad he made some 3s even though most coaches would be yelling at him.

The line is out and was when I made the post. -3.5 is it in favor of the good guys. We are higher in every metric and it’s a neutral floor. Not sure why anyone wouldn’t think we’d be the favorite.

Kentucky hasn't exactly clobbered any decent teams with close win margins and some terrible huge deficit losses. So expecting different for them in the tourney is unlikely. I know you are talking about all the teams but Kentucky has a way of not valuing offensive possessions or coaching keeping a hot secondary player in the game when on that streak.

I'm banking on momentum in this one. If everything was equal, I take the team that just played a game over the team that has been sitting for too long.

Despite the massive gulf is SEC record, Missouri isn't much different than LSU.

We were a 5 point favorite vs LSU based on Kenpom and won by exactly 5 points
We are a 4 point favorite vs Missouri (3.5 according to Vegas).

So.......64%. Obviously not a slam dunk and who knows if playing the previous day helps or hurts this team but it's a game we should indeed win.

I think we might be ok today but then once we get to UF and playing three games in three days I think that might take it's toll.

And sometimes with teams like UF you do have slip ups in the conference tournament. We lost to Vandy in 2012. But with UF still fighting for a 1 seed, they will be rested and focused on grabbing at least another win or two to solidify that.

Mitchell is a beast.

Unforunately, he's ranked like 40th out of all players in fouls committed per 40 so him getting into foul trouble might be difficult lol

Big game today. A win locks up at least a 7 seed with a chance(small) to bump up to a 6 tomorrow. A loss and you’re probably on the 7/8 line with a very uninspiring resume that’s mainly carried by SOS

Probably going to come down to a one or two possessions.
This team just isn't good enough to separate itself from teams.

It took back to back 3pointers from a 15% three point shooter to gain separation from LSU LOL

Yeah a win would be massive here and might move us to 6 seed

Tho it's possible we could already obtain a 6. I don't really think a loss puts us in danger of dropping all the way to 8 which I think is what you really want to avoid if you are UK. The 1s like similar to last year are for the most part pretty clear cut and there's IMO a gap. I'd rather UK play a 2 or 3.

I'm feel pretty good Miami beating Louisville today after the egg Louisville laid against SMU yesterday and BYU should get waxed by Houston today too.

My guess is the refs do everything they can to get Missouri a win. Kentucky is solidly in the tournament and a Missouri victory should guarantee they make it, but if they lose they may not get a bid.
