Would rather they use the 2 1st round draft picks and get a qb in rounds 2-4 and trade for a vet than take Dante Moore. Rather they take Downs or Reese - or trade down.

You can’t take a safety at 2 just because of the financial implications. Reese worries me because his size makes him a bit of a tweener. Bain looks good.

Typical Jets luck that not only is this draft light on top QBs there isn’t a dominant interior DL rated in the top ten.

Want nothing to do with Moore with 2nd pick in draft.
Draft a qb on day 2 and put all your capital to draft franchise qb in 2027
Aaron Glenn will ruin any qb anyway if franchise qb is drafted in 26.

Good thing they didn’t want Rodgers back so we could back to the previous decade of never throwing TD passes.

Glenn was a huge fail in so many ways. As is the front office and ownership.

the good news is- we can now ruin 5-6 1st round picks over the next couple of years.

You are in luck. Dante Moore has decided to return to Oregon, and is off the board.

Smart move by Moore, he needs more experience and needs to get stronger. Another 12-15 starts will help him immensely. I think he is talented but I did not want the Jets to draft him with pick #2. Oregon is going to have a very talented team next year, they could be the NC favorite going into the 2026 season.

Or maybe he will be like Drew Allar, and staying in school will have cost him millions. Impossible to know. One thing we do know is that his decision devalues the Jets pick. If they want to trade down, the market will be very soft.

I’m not sure why anyone would have thought Allar would be a top draft choice . Watching him play over several seasons would not lead to that opinion. Sometimes I don’t get the hype on these guys or what the draft analysts look at. Allar seems like a bigger, more athletic version of Christian Hackenberg to me. Maybe the Jets will repeat the same mistake of taking Allar in round 2, like they did Hackenberg.

Jets need to be smart in this draft. Either use the pick the get the best non QB out there or trade it for more picks. They will suck again in 2026 and but up near the top of the draft again next year and together with all the picks from their trades- they can build an incredible team. The only problem- The Jets will f up every single pick they draft.

Being a Jets fan is the most depressing damn thing on earth. Giants fans are doing back flips today with their new HOF coach, and their young superstar QB and stud wide receiver, etc.

The Jets have the 2nd pick in a 1 QB draft, and haven't had a quarterback in 50 years. Their new coach is a dead man walking and way ove rhis head, It's absolutely awful

It’s the worst. They should be embarrassed at the product they put on the field.

Add the fact that tickets are so expensive and people keep buying them.

Given what was available , I’m fine with Geno 2.0. A large upgrade over current with a guy who played behind the worst OL in the league. Geno just needs to remember to duck if someone takes a swing at him 😉.

i don’t know. They gave up literally nothing and Seattle is paying most of his contract. Jets pay $3.3M Of the $19.5. What else they going to do. A bad year for QB draft and underwhelming free agent class.

I am ok with this- and quite honestly, expect them to be picking 1 or 2 again next year. so let Geno take the beating. And if I am the Jet's, I trade this year's number 2 and hope t not move down much more than 5 spots and picks up at least another first rounder for next year and a few quality mid rounders. Always good spots to find OL/WR/DB's in those rounds.

Next year should be loaded with QB's that should have real shots at being franchise guys.

He is basically free anyway. Cousins would have been more expensive than needed.

Rather, they invest in the offensive line at this point.

Trading down from 2 will be very tough. There is no QB available. Nor is there any consensus on who is best player available. I've seen five different guys mocked at 2. I doubt that anyone will pay a premium for the pick.

The pick that I think will be in demand is #33, which is the first pick in Day 2. Teams will have time to assess their needed and identify guys they like who they didn't think would still be on the board.

Mike Francesa’s bombshell report that could blow up the entire Jets franchise

Sounds underwhelming tbh.
