11am on the ‘Cock
Iowa -11.5
O/U 137.5

Prior to yesterday’s win, Maryland was 1-6 in their last 7 games since beating Iowa. The hawks are 2-5 in their last 7 games.

This comes down to which team sucks just a little bit less, and I said that I don’t see this hawkeye team winning another game.

72-65 Terps in an ugly ugly game.

Even worse, they are televising the 2nd game [USC/WASH] on DirecTV's 'Peacock/NBCSN' channel, but not the Iowa game preceding it.

F--- off both B1G and D*.

I'm waiting for the day where NCAA Tournament games start airing on the 'cock. They've already done it with NFL Playoff games.

I'm seeing the Iowa/MD game on my schedule (on NBCSN), though, at least.

I wouldn't mind watching the game on the Peacock streaming app if I got the game in the actual format it is produced in.

These BTT games on Peacock are produced and supposed be output at 4k HDR/DV, but only displays in SDR 1080P. TV shows/movies are correctly displayed in 4k HDR/DV, but all sports are downgraded to SDR 1080P.

Would actually prefer these games to be on Amazon Prime, as their sports productions (TNF) are still 1080P, but at least it comes through in HDR.

Wonder why #10 seed Indiana is on the BIG at 6:30 but Hawks are on Peacock at noon. Fricking BIG bias. On top of that, #11 Minny is on at 8:30. Total BS.

Guess I'll find something else to do. The cock sucks.

Maryland plays what I like to call pussyball; drive to the lane and draw fouls. Basically the equivalent of football's nickel and diming.

I think Ben has the guys ready and we get revenge.

Speaking of the actual thread subject, I have no expectations about today's game or any Iowa games that might follow in the BTT.

The last few weeks have taught me that anything & everything is possible with this team, on any given day/night.
And that's true of many, many teams, not just Iowa. Recently, for one of many examples, 11-19 Marquette beat 27-3 UConn. Stuff happens. Today I hope the stuff happens to the turtles.

Maryland offense is basically put head down, drive w/out any offensive intent, flop or charge and wait for a whistle. At least they won't be playing with those odd Wilson balls like they do at Maryland IIRC.

I probably just guaranteed there are going to be a ton of game stoppages (fouls/reviews, etc) and that this game goes - at the very least - one OT today, as I have to hit the road to go somewhere at 1:15p.

Sorry boys.

It won't happen, since it would be the perfect scenario, but would be great to see the Hawks get off to a good strong start on both ends, keep building on it, and provide Coach the opportunity to give Stirtz some rest in the last few minutes of the game to preserve his legs as much as possible as they continue on in the BTT.

Back in my day we watched 3 stations and PBS on a 15 inch black and white screen. We had to listen to tournament games on the radio because there was no cock. There was no ESPN. Hell, there was no remote. We turned a knob with pliers .

Andre Mills went off on us the last time we played. He averages 12 ppg; he had 24 against Iowa.

David Coit averages 13 ppg; he had 19 against Iowa.

They gave Illinois a test last week. Illinois is better than Iowa.

Like to see our guys take a charge or 2.
