He needs to make huge strides next year. He has taken Hunger’s place as the walking foul. Really tired of the hands straight in the air and puzzled look. He’s not a twitchy athlete and needs to play a lot smarter.
Not playing a lot of minutes because he is always in foul trouble. Getting paid to contribute more.
If we had page this game would already be over. Their Center is killing us since we don't have the height to cover him
West is a fantastic passer and ball handler. Between him and Reid, we gave a solid backcourt for the next couple years.
I’ve been on the train of them making a solid backcourt next year. West should only get better after a promising freshman year and if Reid can find some consistency scoring he’s going to be very dangerous. He’s already 5th in APG in the B1G
Too bad these first day games are on Peacock which many don’t have. At least I can watch games on BTN. Nice win by the Cats.
Nice 2nd half by the CATS. Singleton played well. Nice D and made some really nice plays inside on the O. West is gonna be really good. Knows what to do with the ball and is a hekuva competitor. When he hits the weight room in the off-season Who Ha.
If Reid can play like he did tonight look out.

And of course Mart is Mart. And don't forget about Kropp. Played well against a guy who is much bigger then him. He is another freshman who is going to be very good.
I was able to watch the second half tonight. Once again, the Cats looked like the better team the entire time and kept missing gimmes instead of pushing the lead beyond reach - at least tonight they got it going at the very end.
I was happy seeing Tre finally get some offense going with some nice finishes, and that pass from West was awesome. Kropp also looking improved and his defense was as good as it's been, I think. This year's freshmen starters are definitely showing some promise at the end of this season. Reid looking good, too. I'm not sure next year will be much better than this, but if we keep the core and they continue improving, we'll have a strong team of juniors - and hopefully sophomores, with freshmen watching and learning. I can only hope.
We'll need Page to step up hard and duo down low with Tre to try and keep that interior threat going, and Angelo is going to have to make the big leap.
