Don’t know the circumstances so won’t judge but the reality is that JW can compete with almost anyone when he’s on. And VV definitely did not have an at-large resume IMO so not shocked to see him left off.I firmly believe Williams would have made it. This is on TnT.
It's funny. I remember when VV was a hs senior and was strongly recruited by top programs. Including Iowa. When he chose the Pokes I thought it was really a loss. I guess he didn't progress to match his level of recruitment. At least yet. Maybe never. Anyone think 157 next year is JW, VV, portal or maybe Estrada? Not looking optimistic .

My guess is that Block moves to 157…the weight cut is clearly getting to him…and Estrada roles at 149.
He was gone during the season. That's why he didn't wrestle in the tournament.......
It's only a matter of time until IronTurd starts wish casting Joe Sealey into your lineup and then claiming that will be enough to beat PSU. LOL.

I remember after his RS freshman year knowing it wasnt a loss. But Iowa had to take who they could get because they suck at recruiting. That #1 2021 class for OSU was a bust just like most Iowa classes. They did something about it tho. Give them credit.
