Based on what I’ve seen, boozer’s brother pushes the ball much more than foster so dook instantly becomes more of a fast break team. Foster was something like 25-2 assist to TO and hitting 40% from 3 so that’s a big loss, but they’ll adjust…they’re too loaded.

Part of that was UNC's best player was also out for the year.

There's a chance that we don't see a single traditional Blue Blood in the 2nd weekend of the tournament.
Duke will be there second weekend. Kansas could be as well.

Amazing how the top story on ESPN right now is that Duke's 4th leading scorer (8.5 ppg) is out with a foot injury. Any other team, blue bloods included, losing their 4th leading scorer would not even make the ESPN.com main page.
Ever notice all games ESPN are 2 hours apart & when Duke plays The Tar Holes that game gets scheduled 2.5 hours apart. It's funny because the Kentucky vs Arkansas game got higher ratings lol.

Right. I think it was last week I seen on here this NEVER happens to puke.
Not sure if serious. It very rarely happens to duke. That’s especially true of multiple injuries to key players. I can’t remember the last time they had 3 rotational guys out, if ever. I’m sure it’s happened but I sure don’t recall it.

I never watch them, but I was surprised that he only averages 2.8 assists. Starting PG on a team loaded with talent, and that's all you average in assists?

I don't think it's likely at all for all 4 teams to miss 2nd weekend.. but I wouldn't be shocked. Not having your starting PG is the biggest single position loss a college team can have going into the tournament. This isn't really an indictment on Duke as much as it is how much injured in college basketball affect a team. Same with Caleb Wilson for UNC.

All four blue bloods have some big concerns going into the tournament.,. of course Kentucky has the biggest concerns lol. But Im on the fence on if I even want Kentucky to move on. The worst thin for us might be to make a Sweet16 and keep Pope around. I know if I were Duke/UNC/KU fans, that's what I'd be rooting for.

I think Duke plays better without Foster.
The big injury is more important.

The first Duke-UNC game had 1.1 million more viewers.

Basically by definition every title team ever benefitted from good injury luck. Our 2012 team was amazing but the depth was such that an injury to anyone in our top 6 most likely derails the championship run. Florida isn't winning last year if they lose one of their three guards. UConn was dominant two years ago but an injury to Clingan probably gets them knocked out. Etc.

Duke has a lot of good players and maybe they can overcome it. Of the likely top 4 seeds (Duke, Mich, Arizona, and Florida), Arizona and Florida are so far at full strength. Michigan lost their 6th man for the season.
