I'll probably add to this, but...

* Did LSU actually just lose 2 of 3 to a Sacramento State team that came in with 5 straight loses, having been swept in two weekend series already?? When's the last time they had a weekend showing that bad? Lost 4 of last 5.

* Vandy is 10-7. Should be an interesting opening weekend in Nashville with the corn dogs.

* Opening with Arky on the road and Vandy at the Dude. It feels like we really need to get out of the gate with a minimum of 4 wins.

* Georgia and Georgia Tech are both knocking the covers off baseballs. Saw that Va Tech did get one off Ga Tech Sunday after getting spanked twice.

* UCLA easily swept Ohio State in a natural rivalry weekend 2,240 miles from LA.

* After taking an SEC sweep in Arlington, Az State swept Bo Kimble, the ghost of Hank Gathers and Loyola Marymount by a cumulative run total of 50-9, including a 29-4 Sunday thriller.

All the other SEC teams can got to h---. I'm glad they look bad, or at least look less than formidable. But this weekend is a shot at redemption for all of them. They will need to come out strong, so hopefully they'll be pressing.

We should take the series, but I wouldn't panic.... unless we get swept.

Then we may as well just hang up the spikes.

Not sure I’d go so far as to say we should win this series. I think it’s a toss up. But yeah, as long as we don’t get swept.

Arkansas LSU and Vandy are all way too talented and well coached to continue struggling you can count on two if not all three figuring and out and rounding into championship contention

Don't forget Flarda who lost two of three to powerhouse High Point and came within a gnat's eyelash of getting swept being down 4 in the 8th of game 3.
Also, the Vandy Boy's latest loss was to NDSU who doubled their win total with that victory.
