Probably would’ve only blown it if he missed.. dumbass refs.

Like when the ref waited 3 seconds to call a foul on Stirtz when Morez Johnson missed.

You are absolutely correct. Another unbelievable no call at the Iowa end. That, and much less, were fouls at the other end, especially in the second half. At one point in the second half Iowa had 12 fouls and Michigan had 3.

And how they missed the travel on the 7-3 guy when he banked in that prayer at the end of the shot clock is incredible. He traveled nearly every time he got the damn ball. They even called it a couple of times. He's a baby giraffe learning to walk. Yes, Iowa could have been better, but that doesn't mean the refs get to skate. Their inconsistency and missing obvious calls are just as much of the game as missed shots and rebounds.

I'd haven't watched anything back, but at the game it seemed like there were two and1s on Cam that they missed. Body and arm contact on both.

Agreed, it wasn’t even close - there was majority body contact. Also, 9 times out of 10 a swipe across the arm/body area (regardless if it was mostly clean) gets called. Every f’ing call went against us in that final minute. I was shocked when they actually called Michigan for a travel…..

I asked in another thread: Is it not a tech any longer slamming the ball against the backboard out of frustration? Perhaps they did away with that rule but I’ve seen Iowa get techs for less.

I remember that play. That was weird as hell. Either Banks or Manyawu tipped the rebound out, then a whistle is blown and everyone is looking around confused as hell. You'll never convince me that the refs didn't have it out for Iowa this season for whatever reason.

He absolutely deserved the and 1.

Stirtz had at least two where he went to the basket and got body fouled and no call.
