Similar to our OT win against NW, their worst FT shooters swish it, and yet Martinelli goes to the line to ice it and chokes. PHEW.
Minnesota took an 18-2 lead to start and NW got it back with 1:30 to play. Sorry Gophers, itās all our fault. Any game that directly impacts Rutgers and the basketball gods start to do their thing.

Looks like opponent will be Washington if they beat Oregon but if Washington loses it will be Minnesota
If it was really a typical Rutgers thing the Gophers would have lost - Iām feeling a run in the B1G tournament now
Tough call because we played poorly against both. The big guy is very tough for Washington. A very short Minnesota rotation team might be our best shot. They shot the lights out last time
For the next opponent, it appears UCLA will get the 6 seed and stunningly Purdue the 7 seed
Right now the projected path is
Washington -> Wisconsin -> Nebraska -> MSU -> title game

Painter is a great coach but this might be his worst coaching season. Smith and Kaufman-Renn are two of the best players in the league and they added Clluff to go along with the huge Jacobson off the bench. Cox is a good shorter and although Loyer is the same player as he was 3 years ago, heās still good. Mayer would start for us at the point and he comes off the bench. The Purdue team plays almost no defense and is sputtering. They should be so much better than they are.
Phew - now the path is there for us to win the Big 10.
