Our room was reserved for Friday. But I cancelled after the Gonzaga game. We always stay walking distance wherever the tournament is held.

Not going at all now.

But if anyone wants to watch them you better go Wednesday. It will be a tall order for this team to win on Wednesday. The team will be tired from today then add in all the travel.

Pope might just forfeit another game in Bridgestone line he has the last 2.

That's where I'm at. I'll keep watching on TV and hoping. But I won't spend another dollar on hotel rooms, travel and game tickets while Pope is the coach. We are thinking about using the time off and the money we normally spend on the SEC and going to Hot Springs and Oaklawn Park for a few days next week.

We will be moving out of Ky here at some point, it’s time for new scenery

My buddies & I will be there on Friday but They will be knocked out of it by the time we get there, if not before lol. We don't go to Bridgestone arena, we watch the games at Tin Roof with all the other UK fans. It's honestly an excuse to party on Broadway & listen to some good music.

My brother and cousin texted me the other day asking when we are going back to the SEC tournament. My response was simple, "When Pope is gone."

Hopefully people save their money and don’t waste it watching Mark Pope stare with his arms crossed as the other team goes on a 13-0 run.

I live 30 minutes away and avoid downtown Nashville like the plague. It has become the most expensive place to park and visit as any city around. Crime is up and mayor doesn’t care.
At what point does Nashville price itself out of the SEC tournament?

Been saying this here for a while. Got some Nashville fans that get themselves in a tizzy. Most overrated city in the entire south. I’m originally from Tennessee and when I was a kid it was awesome. It’s a shame what’s happened to it. They don’t have the infrastructure for the traffic, culturally it’s not southern at all, they have allowed way too many foreigners in there all at once that’s hurt the Nashville aura. Crime is crazy, one of the leading places in the country for car theft. I know people who have been held at gunpoint downtown, it’s just a really awful place now. I mean if you like sitting in 4 hour traffic to work or to eat?

Nashville is now Atlanta, and in 20 more years it’s going to do to Tennessee exactly what Atlanta did to Georgia. Which is ruin it. I’m good, I’ll take the Lex Lou Cinci areas any day of the week, and drive over and kick it in the smokies. All of that beats the sht out of dealing with Nashville. Really not much there anyway, I’ve never understood the infatuation some have. When I was a kid it was one of the neatest little cities. My cousin is a financial advisor there, has a very successful business. They’re wanting out now they don’t like it with their kids. It’s a shame, they’ve been there 30 years now. My cousin is there, and my sister. She’s about ready to follow me to up this way or move to Knoxville. It really is overrated as hell.

How much longer is the SEC tourney going to be held in Nashville? It sure would be nice to try NOLA or Atlanta again.
Contracted thru 2035

I’ve been everywhere. Even Rupp when it was allowed.

A lot of people complained about St Louis in ‘18. But we enjoyed it.

Loved NO. In ‘12 the SEC was there and the FF. Went to both.

Nashville is most convenient for us. But I think the best place is Catlanta. Most centrally located.

You don’t have to try and stay walking distance from the arena. You can stay anywhere and take the train to the arena.

It’s going to have to go to Texas and Ok at some point. That’s a promise made to the schools when they join. That’s why it was in St Louis once.

But it will be after 2035.
