Florida is a 1 seed and defending national Champs. We gave them a game in the end.
I dont like moral victories either but, i have seen UK lose to UAB and Middle TN and St Peters and Oakland im the 1st rd and Ive seen them win it all in 78, 96, 98 and 12.
When times are tough I stick with my team,Kentucky. I also enjoyed all the titles too.
I'd rather be the 10 seed over the 9 seed. 10/7 and 10/2 matchups are a hell of a lot better than 9/8 and 9/1 matchups this season.

But it won't be a straight up tie with Texas it will be a 3 or 4 way tie which we will lose tiebreaker and end up a 10 seed if Texas and Kentucky tie at 10-8
Only way it is a 9 now is if Texas loses to Oklahoma to drop them to 9-9

No. Ive taken off work every year for the SEC Tourny and NCAA Tourny! Not this year and not for this team! They dont deserve my time!

I am too but I would never pay for a bad product. A lot of bbn would pay to see us if we were 0-30
There has been Wednesday games for a while actually (2013 was the first year) but you would have had to been an 11-14 seed since there were only 13 or 14 teams in conf.
It just expanded to 16 teams forcing 9 and 10 seeds to play on Wed not long ago.
A&M and LSU going to double OT which will affect who we play between LSU, South Carolina or Ole Miss.
Seems crazy but it sure feels like because of NIL Kentucky is hurt from it having to overpay players that are not that great.
It used to be Kentucky would get the best freshman for free back when Cal was here.
Thanks. I'd rather play LSU or South Carolina out of that group. Ole Miss has a higher ceiling if they play their best game though they've had a terrible year. I guess we still need to wait for the outcome of the Texas game to know for sure too.
You are correct. The SEC first went to Wed tournament games in 2013 when the league expanded from 12 to 14 teams. Seeds 11-14 played Wed.
In 2024 the SEC expanded to 16 teams meaning 9-16 seeds now play Wed.
