There is a possibility that going after oil infrastructure more leads to further escalation with Iran targeting Gulf state oil capacity more than they have so far
Someone also said that the straits weren't closed which is definitely not the case
I'm interested in how much longer this will go and what the conflict will look like as time goes on. The administration is saying 4-6 weeks, which could be the typical bluster we see from them. Centcom has said they're prepping for this to last until September. I think both sitesare running lower on munitions. Even "just" 4-6 weeks really messes with oil and gas prices

i don't think anyone doubts the US military has the ability to rain hell down on pretty much anyone in the world for a certain time period. people are more concerned about what's next especially since it seems we just elevated the old guy's more hardline son who def wants to add nukes to Iran's arsenal, and Trump keeps hinting at the prospect of a ground element which by all accounts would be more treacherous than Iraq.

The warships are in India, the one in Sri Lanka is a support vessel so not a big deal in my book.

I’m seeing chatter online but can’t find any sources about how we/Israel have hit Iranian water infrastructure. Bahrain officials are on Al Jazeera saying that Iran has used drones to hit Bahrain’s desalinization plants. This is an escalation in the war (and I believe targeting water infrastructure is outlawed by the Geneva convention)

We or Israel blew up oil storage in Tehran and it’s raining oil/gas there now. Local officials warned locals to not go outside and to wear masks if they have to go outside. Can’t post the picture but it looks like a giant thunderstorm cloud has rolled in/looks like a tornado cloud
