Who are we going to get to replace Paris? I think he needs to go but I'm worried that we won't do much better. ****

Next coach probably won’t do any better but we sure as hell better try. And keeping Paris around isn’t trying.

Then I just found out he signed a new 5 year deal with UNCW.
There's been some backdoor communication - I wonder if he was told our job was not going to open up?
Anyway, how much is UNC-W going to pay him?

We’re never getting Schertz. He is going to have elite job opportunities and would have no interest in us. Siddle is pretty much in the same boat. Hodgson is the kind of guy we could get. Never made the ncaa tournament, only a head coach in college hoops for 3 years.
RIght now that would be irrelevant. If he just signed, I seriously doubt we are able to continue to pay Paris on his contract, buy out Siddle's contract, then pay on his new contract, and inject more money into the NIL account.

Mike kind of got screwed at Oklahoma State. They were the scapegoat for all the violations the blue bloods were doing and got away with…but his best team was banned from postseason play. That was the team with Cade Cunningham and they could’ve easily won it all. When you get banned from postseason play, it takes some time to recover and he didn’t have that time.
I don’t think Boynton will be a slam dunk hire by any means, but we could do worse. This isn’t like Muschamp or some recycled loser. He’ll get another shot somewhere. Not sure if he is willing to take this job though.
