Political sponsorship fine on podcasts, not on ZZL?

For weeks there's been a presidential Trump ad touting his policies while complaining about Congress in front of or behind inside Carolina podcasts. A threat about Iran was just blocked. Any of the powers that be explain the hypocrisy please?

I agree. The attack Iran thread was locked because it was said to be political. ********. It was big news regarding our country. Not one post was about people discussing it with political debate. We either need new rules here or get rid of mods that just want to abuse their "power". Ridiculous. And we wonder why the zzl has very little participation..

I haven’t got that ad on any of the podcasts.

Don't think they care if the ZZL has little participation. And I think that's a mistake.

I would think any board that attracts paying customers to their site would be a reason to care.

I’m guessing IC uses a third-party ad service that targets users based on location.

First, IC has no control over ads. Those are populated by the podcast platform and are based off of several factors, including a user’s location and preferences.

Second, I am going to unlock the Iran war thread. Just remember that the rules against political posts will still remain in place in that thread.
