What i get from this is they gave us hope many many times but we can't trust this team. I wouldn't be surprised with an elite 8. I wouldn't be surprised to bow out 1st round.

Considering their talent and schedule….Arkansas has had a worse season than we have .
better record + MANY blowout wins by 20 or more, i dont think they have had a worse season lol
Not surprising but ,I don’t even think you did one ounce of research. Bottom line , they have won 2 more games than us while playing BY FAR a weaker schedule.
They lost by 20 to Auburn, by 14 to Georgia, and by 30 to Florida. Also by eight to lowly Kentucky at home .
far weaker, i mean they played duke and ttu in the oht kf conference, also i look at scoring margin as well, and when they beat teams they win big
Dude , just in the sec we had the number 2 schedule vs their number 13 . They lost to Auburn by 20, Georgia by 14, and Florida by 30 . We beat them by 8 at Arkansas. They’ve had bad losses too.
They have ZERO top 50 road wins .

i dont like the talent argument, so people are supposed to look less at them because of their talent? are they just supposed to not have talent?

You guys look at these stats and we are the team to beat in the SEC right now. We beat Fl tomorrow and we are suddenly a threat to win the National Title. Im frankly not suprised by these numbers. SOS is a real thing. How many Ls do we have if our SOS was #84 like #11 in KP Zags at 28-3. Think about it, after tomorrow our SOS will be either 1,2 or 3 nationally. Add on to that brutal schedule 3 of our top 6 players have been out most of the season.

UK is not going to just lose 2-3 games with that type of schedule when you factor in all the injuries.

UK SEC SOS will almost certainly be #1 after today while UFs may climb to 14 or 13. Thats a huge diff when you are talking about only 16 teams in the SEC.

I didn't bring it up, my post that you just quoted was in response to another OP & the topic was about how many games that Pope has coached that we got blown out. I really could give 2 ***** less what Arkansas does, I just pointed out that Calipari gets blown out with lots of talent.

I'd rather just have talent & win, the whole point of this back & forth is that someone said that Pope has too many blowout losses, I just pointed out that Calipari has them with 5* players, give Pope the Arkansas team & I'd be willing to bet they have a better record. I really don't think it's the coaching of Pope that's bad, I think it's his recruiting, totally opposite with Calipari, he can recruit but his coaching sucks. If Calipari coached this Kentucky team, we'd have 15 losses, he needs talent to make up for his lack of coaching.

I agree, and i think pope is a good coach, but for us to have dominant seasons like we want the talent will need an upgrade, because these first 2 pope rosters are what they are, 20 win teams and a couple tournament win rosters
