Not necessarily an upset but seems like he will require a wildcard now
Issac Dean over Zac Ryder.. Ryder dealing with a shoulder injury looked like and took 2 injury times
The NDSU kid’s tournament comes to an end after he pulls a Gilman at the end of his next match and gets DQed.
And with a few more additional pounds than Gilman.
I as watching it on about a one inch square on my phone. Looked like the bottom wrestler got the worst of it.
When Gilman did it to Waters, Waters was the one who got penalized

#12 seed (12 man bracket) Y. Charles Morgan State makes the finals. He won by DQ (slam) over the #1 Ley of Navy seed in the semis.
The DQ was warranted, in the first period they were out of bounds from their feet. After the whistle, Ley lateral dropped him on his head to the gym floor

What Jones did was a bish move and he deserved to get DQ! How the hell can anyone defend what he did?
Oh BTW, he was going to lose regardless. He just decided to take it to another level and get himself DQ'd, and effectively end his season because the other guy rode him too hard.

Roper was able to contain SOME of Schwab’s worst inclinations
It would be interesting to see what Schwab could do with actual talent. Anything he’s doing is with a bunch of guys that were between UNI and Wartburg in terms of recruits.
Don’t know how good he’d be but Iowa is starting at the goal line and UNI has to match the field.
Schwab is where he should be. He’s a younger, lesser version of Brands. Would do nothing for Iowa
Definitely not saying he’d bring Iowa back to the top, just it’s kind of silly to even compare UNI and Iowa.
