I think Tre’s going to become a really good player but those were a couple of tough plays at the end, helps off Cox for no reason on D to give up the go-ahead 3 then gets in a hurry and throws it away next time down.

What a first-year meltdown from Singleton. Inexcusable mistakes under pressure. Moment was way too big for him. Then Windham enters the game after no action for how long? At least he got on the stat sheet. Baffling.

The Cats gave the game away at the end with a little help from the refs. They were absolutely the better team tonight and didn’t close out what was a solid defensive effort.

Painter got out-coached again, and it looks like another too-early exit from the tourney for his team in a few weeks. Not that it matters to us, but I have Boiler friends who are going to talking tomorrow and crying soon after.

What a frustrating loss. It's senior night so I am not gonna say what I want to say other then to say we should have won this game. Mart's last game on home court. Wish he would have gone out with a win. Guys played tough and with no West. There have been some great games at WR with Purdue the last few years.

Tre’s pass was rushed and not in control, but frankly what he saw was there if Reid doesn’t stumble. Throw that at a little less of an angle and it’s a fast break.
Reid played well for much of the game but then in the last minutes fouled on a three, lobbed a grenade to Clayton at the end of the shot clock, then fell down on NU’s last chance to equal the score.

To be clear, Tre was the one who instigated an out of control play and Reid was jus unlucky, I’m just pointing out Tre saw something real there.

No contest in the other two, the Clayton possession was the kind of useless can’t go anywhere dribble possession I’ve harped on

They will say its sour grapes or whatever, but I don't care. Obviously, every team's fans are homers and complain about refs. But in my 20ish years of following Big Ten basketball, no fan base even comes CLOSE to the whininess of Purdue. They are truly elite. Just on another level.
Indiana has been pretty bad as well, Something in the water?

You came at me? If you come at the king… you better not miss.
I have followed these boards for a long time and periodically there is some one-note ******* who offers no real insight but feels compelled (for probably very sad reasons) to monopolize the board (DocCat anyone?) with basically the same post over and over. If that is how you define king -then yes you are the king! Congratulations. And now you go to ignore.

Not just that, But also had to deal with one of the most inconsiderate opposing fans I have ever seen, Purdue guy stood the whole game, Not just for a play or so at an important time in the game but the whole game. Only one in the whole section so getting up so we could see would have done the same thing to people behind us. I was about 6 rows behind and 8 to 10 seats seats over Sec 107 and place was packed so no way to get to him, Where he was, could not see much of anything at the other end People around me had the same issues with him

Yes. Quoting a show that ended almost 20 years ago makes me feel old. You should come back with a line from the Sopranos and I will feel really out of touch. All those new fangled cable tv shows with their cursing and immorality. Damn Gen-Z.

Seriously, though, One-Note, why do you think you feel the need to just post the same negative, unperceptive crap all the time. What void is it filling?
